Arts Access Aotearoa seeks new trustee

Arts Access Aotearoa provides national leadership on behalf of many people to reduce the barriers they face in accessing the arts and help ensure their rights to creative expression.

Arts Access Aotearoa Whakahauhau Katoa O Hanga Charitable Trust is governed by a board of trustees and a vacancy has arisen for one new board member.

When a trustee vacancy arises consideration is given to the new trustee’s specific skills and experiences that will increase the board’s overall strength. For this current vacancy, Arts Access Aotearoa is calling for expressions of interest from people in the disability sector interested in joining the board of trustees.

Preference will be given to a person who has specific experience and knowledge of the barriers and challenges faced by disabled and/or Deaf people in accessing and participating in the arts.

The closing date is Friday 28 October 2016.
