Audio described performances of The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch at Māngere Arts Centre on Wednesday 3 May at 10:30am and Saturday 6 May at 1:00pm. Touch tour for access ticket holders begins 1 hour before the show.

Don’t miss this much-loved New Zealand stage adventure, where high seas, high adventure and hi-jinks abound. Back by popular demand, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch is a story made for audience participation, featuring an operating lighthouse, a seaworthy vessel and an enormous rescue at sea!

Born from the pages of Ronda and David Armitage’s three children’s books, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Rescue and The Lighthouse Keeper’s Tea, this iconic Kiwi show will have audiences of all ages singing along, joining in the fun and marvelling at its mystery, adventure and humour. Based on The Lighthouse Keeper series of books by Ronda and David Armitage © 1994, 2001

Costume Parade: Dress up in character! We love to see imaginations running wild and encourage our young audience to dress up as their favourite characters. We will show off the costumes onstage with a parade at the start of the performance (Note: Saturdays and school holiday shows only).
