The Barbarians are taking over The Civic on 20 and 21 January! These celebrated freedom-fighters of Wellington's theatre scene have got hold of the keys to Auckland’s The Civic and are performing Grand Opening, celebrating the world of performing arts and featuring local Auckland collaborators. Fun for the whole family with accessible options and support available.
Some parts of the performance may include climbing stairs. However, this is optional and audiences are able to navigate the show using wheelchair-accessible and less active pathways instead. Our team will be available to assist you the whole time and we encourage you to let us know before you arrive what your requirements are so that we can help to make your experience as enjoyable as it can be. The more information we have from you the better we will be able to accommodate your needs.
- The Civic can be accessed by wheelchairs via lifts and ramps on every floor.
- Guide dogs welcome.
- Companion tickets available on request.
- Parking: there are accessible parking spaces in The Civic carpark nearby.
Audiences are admitted every 15 minutes. Check Auckland Live website for times.
Bookings via Ticketmaster are essential.
