Dunedin's Fortune Theatre is excited to get its audio description and touch tour programme back up and running. It's starting off with a special touch tour performance on Sunday 25 February of its first show of the year, Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense.

Before the show,  patrons will gather in the bar for tea and coffee, then head through to the theatre to hear more about the play, meet the actors and hear the voices of the different characters they play, and then go onstage and explore parts of the set, feel costume pieces and get behind-the-scenes knowledge of some of the gags and tricks that happen in the show.

Fortune is also launching a brand new, free companion ticket policy for this event. Each blind or vision impaired patron purchasing a ticket for the touch tour show is entitled to one free companion ticket.

You can book through the box office at 03 477 8323 or online. If you have any questions please email Shannon Colbert

After the performance and during the touch tour, Fortune would love to hear your feedback so it can design its programme specifically for your needs. You can also email any thoughts or ideas to Shannon.

More about Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense

By David and Robert Goodale

When a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse, Bertie Wooster is unwittingly called on to play matchmaker AND steal a silver cow-shaped cream jug from Totleigh Towers. Things go seriously awry in this laugh-a-minute farce, perfect for the whole family this summer. After a sell-out season on the West End, three UK tours and a world tour, the award-winning Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense comes to Dunedin for the first time. It runs from 10 Feb to 3 March.
