Immerse yourself in the art of Māori weaving with a workshop inspired by Maureen Lander's Flat-Pack Whakapapa exhibition at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery.

Learn how to make a kōnae basket with harakeke (flax) using traditional Māori raranga methods.

This event is especially for our Deaf and hearing impaired visitors and will be NZSL interpreted.

Just turn up, no knowledge of art is needed.
