Join performance artists Suzanne Cowan and Rodney Bell on a sensorial performance walk of connectivity that journeys whakapapa, history and a deepening experience of the beautiful forest at Byers Walk, Piha. This event is part of the Auckland Arts Festival. Tickets for wheelchair users are $20.
The entire walk/roll is approximately 2hrs 30mins and includes a reflective gathering with kai at the end.
Wheelchair-friendly transport is available for a small fee.
The terrain of Byers Walkway is suitable for people with mobility impairments but those with a power chair may need some assistance as the path is uneven in parts.
