Auckland Arts Festival is offering a touch tour on Tuesday 19 March of a surround-sound minimalist and mesmerising percussion concert, featuring percussionists from the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) and the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM).

We are excited to announce a touch tour for In C, the surround-sound minimalist and mesmerising musical experience.

Percussionists from the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) and the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) perform Terry Riley's hypnotic In C and Mason Bates’ Stereo is King. In C is considered to be one of the most influential works of the late 20th century. With its insistent, repetitive rhythms and harmonic mutations, it has inspired contemporary classical composers such as John Adams and Philip Glass, as well as rock artists like John Cale and Brian Eno.

Touch Tour: 4.30pm
Performance: 6.00pm
Tickets: $28 each for individual and companion / $15 Student or child
