Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, adapted for stage by Tim Bray, music by Antonio Vivaldi, includes a sensory relaxed performance.
Tim Bray Theatre Company, in collaboration with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and UNITEC, present a new and exciting addition to our repertoire of theatre for children.
Fusing the classical and contemporary, actors will perform an original physical theatre piece set against Vivaldi’s renowned The Four Seasons performed by a live string quartet. We are proud to be showcasing the up-and-coming talent of Tāmaki Makaurau by featuring APO Aspiring Musicians and Unitec third-year acting students.

Your children will be mesmerised by the sights and sounds of a live quartet along with the clever, dynamic storytelling driven by the beauty of this much-loved classical music piece. From blossoms to birds to basking on the beach at Christmas, this production will burst into life with the cycles of nature.

A sensory relaxed performance is a supportive, less formal theatre show which may be especially beneficial to children and family members with sensory, movement, communication, and learning needs. Check out the Tim Bray Theatre Company website for details and resources before booking your ticket: https://timbray.org.nz/accessible-performances/#Sensory
