Taha Hotu is a national disability-led initiative facilitated by Arts Access Aotearoa. It supports Deaf and disabled artists to develop their creative practice, create new work and strengthen career pathways. Taha Hotu provides mentoring, networking, resources and opportunities to connect with the wider arts sector.
What Taha Hotu offers
For Deaf and disabled artists
We provide and share opportunities for artists to connect, share ideas and showcase their work. Through networking, mentoring and resources, artists are supported to develop their practice and tell their stories on their own terms.
For supporters and allies
Taha Hotu welcomes opportunities to collaborate with the arts sector to create residencies, fellowships, internships and more for Deaf and disabled artists to develop or share their arts practice in Aotearoa and beyond. If you'd like to kōrero, please get in touch.
