Facilitators for disability-led accessibility responsiveness training

Arts Access Aotearoa is seeking expressions of interest from Deaf and disabled people wanting to facilitate Deaf and disability-led responsiveness training.

What it is

This is a disability-led project to increase access to the arts for Deaf and disabled artists, arts workers and audiences.

We are looking for Deaf and disabled facilitators from a range of backgrounds.

This is a paid opportunity for a pilot programme.

Arts Access Aotearoa will cover costs associated with attending training and workshop delivery, and costs associated with support required for your attendance and participation.

There is the potential option for more work at the conclusion of the pilot.

We welcome expressions of interest from Deaf and disabled people throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.

What we are looking for

Experience as a facilitator is not required but it is desirable. As part of this project, we will offer professional development in facilitating, learning the material and adding your own voice to it.

When it is

This pilot training will be run in August 2024.
