Job vacancy: Arts in Corrections Advisor

Arts Access Aotearoa requires the services of a part-time Arts in Corrections Advisor to join its small, busy Wellington-based team for three days per week. The successful applicant will have relevant experience to provide strategic advice on the delivery and development of arts and cultural activities within Corrections facilities and prisons for the benefit of prisoners’ rehabilitation. Experience in providing high-quality reports and natural networking abilities will assist in facilitating training workshops to support community stakeholders delivering participatory and applied arts.
The successful applicant will have excellent English language skills and the competence to communicate effectively with a range of individuals and organisations from government to community, and be confident in tikanga-based processes and procedures.
