Creative Wellbeing Studio: Thursday morning workshops

Supportive, playful workshops for adults to explore creativity and wellbeing, cultivating connection and community through weekly Thursday sessions at 10.30am-12.30pm from 6 November to 4 December 2025 in Grey Lynn, Auckland. The workshops are designed for adults living in Auckland, with no previous art experience necessary.

These workshops are provided at a minimal cost, thanks to the support of the Creative Communities Scheme and the Ockham Collective. The emphasis is on the creative process rather than producing a finished product, inviting participants to reconnect with their innate creativity as a tool for enhancing wellbeing, and offering creative wellbeing tools that can be integrated into everyday life.

Participants will also be given space to share and reflect with one another followed by the sharing of tea and biscuits as a way to transition back into the remainder of their day.  The only pre-requisite is that participants are interested in exploring creativity and wellbeing within a group environment and with an openness to try something new. It is essential that each person goes through the intake process to make sure the group is a right fit.
