’Eel the love for Te Papa's new natural history zone Te Taiao - Nature at this free, adults-only late night. After dark we’ll be exploring love and sex in Te Taiao with talks, crafts, music, live science and more. Bring a date, bring your mates, or come alone on Friday 14 February, 7.00pm–10.30pm.

- Join a sex ed class with a Te Taiao twist
- Sculpt a plant’s reproductive system
- Play a fishy speed dating game
- Dance an albatross mating dance
- Go on a late night tour of bush city and learn all about how plants get it on
- Enjoy a drink, listen to some jazz, and explore Te Taiao | Nature after dark.
Bring a date, bring your mates, or come alone… there’s plenty of hagfish in the sea.

Birds do it, bees do it – but how exactly? Go back to high school with Fishhook’s sex ed classes.
Classes are 45 minutes (including mat time and homework).
Please note: due to lack of interpreter availability, we are unable to offer NZSL interpretation at this event.

Botany Curator Dr Leon Perrie knows a lot about how plants reproduce – especially ferns! Go on a special late night expedition into Bush City with Leon and ask everything you’ve ever wanted to know about how plants get it on.
