Silent auction two will close at 7.30pm on the night of the Awesome Arts Access Auction.

1. Pacific Parting

An artist from the former Alpha Art Studio, Ashok Bava uses a bright, yet sensitive colour pallet in his flamboyant and engaging work. Using overlaying cyclic marks, Ashok's works draw the viewer into his colour strokes that suggest forms, figures or nebulae in his layered line work.

2. Thailand Book

Karin Clayden is an artist from the former Alpha Art Studio. She uses bold, bright colours with expressive brush strokes, often with large patches of colour overlaid with elaborate patterns and designs. In 2016, Karin was third in the national IHC Art Awards.

3. Blue Man

Artist Victor Bright creates art at Vincents Art Workshop and is known for his skill with colour and his vibrant artworks.

5. Road Cone

Wellington artist Fraser Hoffe applies his talents to a humble traffic cone, transforming it into a colourful work of art on wheels that will brighten up any room in your home. Fraser works from Pablos Art Studios and Vincents Art Workshop, and was one of five artists profiled in the I'm an Artist Campaign in 2014.

6. Buller’s Birds of New Zealand: The Complete Work of JG Keulemans

Geoff Norman’s award-winning classic (Te Papa Press) includes the complete set of 95 artworks from both editions of A History of the Birds of New Zealand by Walter Buller and the subsequent supplement, especially photographed and reproduced in full colour using high-quality modern printing techniques.

7. Golden City by Orchestra Wellington

Two VIP tickets to Orchestra Wellington’s concert, Golden City, at 7.30pm on Saturday 9 June, at the Michael Fowler Centre. Includes seats in the dress circle for the concert, an invitation to VIP interval drinks and post-concert drinks with Music Director Marc Taddei and musicians.

11. Tall Urban Bottle

This beautiful glass work is crafted by Tony Kuepfer, a pioneer of studio glass-making in New Zealand. His work has been exhibited widely in New Zealand and included in international exhibitions, and is held in public and private collections. You can visit Tony’s studio on the Miramar peninsula.

12. Bubbles and Circa Theatre

18. Game of Two Halves

Anne Wendelken works from her studio on the Kapiti Coast. She paints in a decorative and stylist manner and her colourful artworks include landscapes, flowers, birds and observations of everyday life.
