Opus Orchestra is excited to bring you its May concert series, Party Time! with Georgia Jamieson Emms. This concert will feature an NZSL interpreter, ensuring that Deaf audience members can fully enjoy the performance.

Lisotta is straight off the farm, but she doesn’t want just guitars and ukeleles at her party. Lisotta wants a real orchestra with flutes, oboes, clarinets, horns, trumpets, timpani and violins.

This story is brilliantly illustrated in a song by Antonio Salieri that is a fun person'’s guide to the orchestra and is the centrepiece of Opus Orchestra’s 2025 family series.

Georgia Jamieson-Emms introduces a sparkling range of party music—music about music and dance. So from Philip Norman’s ‘The Tin Can Band’, we progress to Mozart’s Seraglio Overture where our young audience can play percussion.
