Artsenta

Artsenta is a shared art studio for people 17 years or over receiving support for a mental health or addiction issue. Materials, equipment and support for a wide range of creative activities are provided including visual art, craft, music and creative writing. No artistic experience is required and it is free to attend. Artsenta caters for people who like to work in all sorts of ways - from individual work to group activities. These sessions are an opportunity for anyone 18 years and over experiencing mental distress or wellbeing challenges to be creative in a safe and supportive environment. Studio2 and Margaret Freeman Gallery

Studio2 and the Margaret Freeman Gallery is a small art studio in South Dunedin for people with disabilities. It provides a relaxed space where people can explore their creativity through a variety of processes and mediums. Activities include free-form visual art creation, music and audio play, role-playing games with problem solving and conflict resolution, puppet creation and story building, and digital games and media. It's open Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm. Visit their website.
